What can I say? My dog absolutely hated coming back home. He was grumpy, sad and couldn't be bothered for anything. While I wanted to snap him out of it, it was a sign of how much he had missed Kip Hunter Valley. It was important for us that wherever we left our fur baby American Staffy, Brutus, he needed to be on his own as he is quite reactive around other dogs. I knew straight away from reading the reviews and talking to Kip beforehand that this was the place from Brutus. Took a load off our shoulders. All in all we left him for 3 weeks and it was the best decision we made. We will definitely be dropping him off again.

Ange Mclaren
Boarding Manager
Ange is absolutely animal-mad, having worked at Petstock and RSPCA Burwood (Melbourne), managed a doggy daycare, become a qualified NDTF Dog Trainer, founded the German Shepherd Rescue Victoria, and been part of the Kip Homestead Yarra Valley Team! She also has a keen interest in canine nutrition and now, she brings her expertise (and her 3 German Shepherds) to Kip Hunter Valley to care for dogs in NSW!
Corinna Connor
Assistant Manager
Corinna is an avid animal lover and has a world of experience under her belt. Having previously worked with RSPCA and assisted in puppy classes, she is the perfect team member to care for your pets. Having been a vital member at Kip Hunter Valley, Corinna now helps to lead the team at Kip Lake Macquarie. Her passion for animals is to be commended, with 5 of her own rescues at home, so it's no wonder your pets have a wonderful time with Corinna!
How Boarding Works
Step 1: Choose Date
Request your boarding stay and complete your pet’s profile, including details such as your pets' vaccinations and any medication they need.
Step 2: Start Your Stay
Drop off your dog during reception hours. If you’ve selected transport, we’ll pick them up right from your door in the morning.
Step 3: Welcome & Health Check
Your dog gets settled in for their holiday, and staff gives them a health check.
Step 4: Enjoy Regular Updates to your Phone
Enjoy regular photo and/or video updates right to your phone throughout their stay.
Step 5: Get that Fresh Wash Feeling
Receive a complimentary hydro-bath before going home for stays longer than 2 days.
Step 6: Home Time!
Pick them up during reception hours, or if you’ve selected transport, we’ll drop them at your door.

What you need to know about your Boarding Visit!
As pet pawrents ourselves, we know that leaving your pet for the first time can be stressful! Every trip to Kip includes your own room, 1-on-1 playtime with our staff, daily photo and video updates, and premium kibble meals, and we encourage pet parents to come visit the accommodation before the trip. Whether your dog loves running in our grassy yards, or your cat loves lounging in the sun, we’re sure your pet will have the best time!
To ensure everyone’s safety, please make sure that all pets are up to date with all vaccinations, and a certificate must be presented.
