How Our Dog Obedience Training Is Delivered
Dog obedience training doesn’t have to be stiff and formal - we offer a range of fun and interactive programs that cater to a range of dog and owner needs. From getting started with Puppy Classes, to more intensive 3-week programs, we cater to dogs of all shapes, ages, and sizes.
Puppy Classes
So you've just welcomed a new fur baby into your family - congratulations! Let's get them started on the right paw with our 5-week program to set them up successfully to navigate the big wide world.
Board & Train Program
Devised at Kip Homestead Yarra Valley, this popular program is perfect for dogs that need a little extra help and attention. Work on basic or advanced obedience or behaviour problems.
Canine Coaching
Already got an upcoming stay booked in? Add Canine Coaching as an extra enrichment activity to their stay. The beauty of it? You can add as many or as little sessions as you want on Monday - Friday.
Daycare & Train Program
Can't commit to a longer training program? Give them a crash course with multiple training sessions during the day with the Daycare & Train program.
Kip’s Board & Train Program
Kip offers an industry recognised Board & Train Program which
ensures building a cohesive relationship between you and your dog.
The program is designed for those looking for a boarding service that includes dog training, that can help with many challenging behaviours including:
• pulling on the leash,
• reacting to other dogs,
• having selective hearing, and/or
• jumping all over you and your guests.
The program encourages you to learn as your pooch learns - to enable you both to develop great life-long habits. This includes resources such as an online learning platform to complete, a comprehensive induction, and 1-on-1 handover with your dedicated trainer.
Canine Coaching Sessions
If you have a high-energy dog who needs a little extra stimulation
during their boarding stay, you can a Canine Coaching session to elevate
their day!
Add it to their stay to:
• Provide basic training to your dog
• Enrich and stimulate your dog during their boarding stay
• Multiple coaching sessions on Monday-Friday
• Choose as many or as little days as you like
• Regular report cards from your trainer
Daycare & Train Session
With our exclusive Daycare & Train Program, you can drop your dog off in the morning and collect them in the afternoon.
Throughout the day, our trained puppy professionals will focus on obedience training sessions that will help with behaviours like:
• Better leash walking
• Better focus on the person at the end of the leash
• Door manners
• Learning how to relax
• Building motivation
Puppy School Classes
At Kip Puppy School, our qualified dog trainers will help you learn the tricks to raise a happy, confident, and obedient dog. In puppy classes, we accept puppies up to five months in age and teach basic skills to your new furry friend, such as:
• Responding under distraction
• Coming back with called
• Stopping behaviour problems like jumping, mouthing, chewing, toileting inside and more
• Interacting with other dogs safely
• How to settle and be calmer
• Tricks for mental stimulation (and showing off!)

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. The team at Kip Brunswick are absolute legends/gems/superstars. You can see & feel how much these individuals love dogs and love their job. My 2 mini schnauzers, Poppy & Merlin, can sometimes be stand offish with other humans, especially after lock down, however at drop off they are excited to see who is there to collect them for their day ahead. They just get everything right: from the viewing window behind reception, the daily video updates you get and the care and compassion shown by every single team member. I will never look at another daycare option. Thank you to awesome team at Kip Happy Stays Brunswick and for the care you give to my beautiful kids 🐾🐾
