What it is
Yield8 is a tokenized share of a regulated fund that brings Asian private credit - ship finance, supply-chain finance, MSME and earned-wage lending - onchain. Returns accrue as NAV appreciation. These are credit markets previously reachable only by institutions.
Where the yield comes from
Yield comes from real economic lending across vetted originators: ship finance and bridge loans, gas-station supply-chain credit, and MSME / earned-wage advances. Returns are interest and receivables on these credit assets - not token emissions.
How it's protected
Yield8 is structured as a regulated fund. NAV is updated weekly through an independent process - the fund manager values the book; an external administrator reflects it onchain. The fund is audited annually by an independent auditor; audited financials are provided to investors. Independent valuation of holdings is performed at least annually.
